| What is the WesBank Super Series?
The WesBank Super Series is South Africa's premier national championship circuit racing series, consisting of five categories ie. Bridgestone Production Cars, Interfile South African Motorcycle Championships, WesBank V8 Supercars, Formula Volkswagen and the Engen Volkswagen Cup. Nine race days take place throughout the year at the top local tracks, including Kyalami and the historic BMSC in East London. Only the top drivers and riders take part in the WesBank Super Series, ensuring the most exciting and adrenalin fuelled racing in South Africa. |
| What can I expect at a typical race day?
A day at the WesBank Super Series races typically includes exceptional racing on the track, as well as fun and entertainment off the track. The average race day consists of an early morning warm up from 8am, with racing generally commencing between 10am and 11am. Each race category stages two races on the day, with the exception of Bridgestone Production Cars who run three. Racing usually ends around 5pm, with a lunch break at around 1pm. |
| Is it safe to watch motorsport at a circuit?
Yes it is. Motorsport South Africa has strict guidelines that need to be followed when hosting any motorsport event. Marshalls are stationed at strategic areas of the track to ensure competitor and spectator safety. |
| Can I bring the family along?
Definitely. WesBank Super Series events cater for families and braai, refreshment and bathroom facilities are provided. With South Africa's amazing weather and the friendly atmosphere at the local tracks, the WesBank Super Series offers spectators an excellent alternative to traditional sporting events. |

Environmental responsibility is at the top of WesBank's agenda in all aspects of our business and creating an awareness of the harmful effects of carbon emission is the first step in reducing our carbon footprint. As such, tree planting forms part of every WesBank Super Series race meeting. |
